Who's 'Walrus'?! I remember the countdown clock...at school we used to literally 'count down' as it went by...stupid I thought even back then...lol I also remember there was another 'count down' clock for schools progs that had each vertical line on the clock disappear as the minute hand went round...

Re: who remembers you and me
I used to like You and Me so much and so look forward to it being on TV, it was a brilliant show and so much a time in my life from being about 7 to 11 Years Old. Even though it was more like an Education/School's Programme i'd rate it as good as Rainbow and Sooty, without any doubt I feel/think.

I remember seeing this a lot, Walrus always seemed to have a wait before it began. The BBC seemed to have stopped using a countdown clock by this point.Originally posted by stuckinthe80's View Post

I do know that mate, just saying its funny....I'm Asian Sri Lankan and have an accentless voice - you know, Bond Villain style. Anyhow, we have Pakistani's down South that put on the Yorkshire style 'mock' Bradfordesque accent, tonnes of them do it, its become their version of the British born West Indians doing their parents and grandparents Windrush Era 'Patwa' accent when speaking English...Originally posted by Sly View PostIt is possible to have mix 'n' match races to accents you know. My mate's Pakistani through and through, but he talks just as Yorkshire as me. Lingo rubs off on people.
I can't say I was much of a fan simply because they made us watch it at school. Anything watched at school becomes deeply uncool.
Has anyone got a pic of Crow and Alice?

Vaguely remember it with crow and Alice but not anything else about it apart from the theme tune.

I hated it.
Side note, I've met Gary Wilmot. Nice man. I was only about 10 though, so that may have skewed my thoughts.
