Who's 'Walrus'?! I remember the countdown clock...at school we used to literally 'count down' as it went by...stupid I thought even back then...lol I also remember there was another 'count down' clock for schools progs that had each vertical line on the clock disappear as the minute hand went round...

I used to like You and Me so much and so look forward to it being on TV, it was a brilliant show and so much a time in my life from being about 7 to 11 Years Old. Even though it was more like an Education/School's Programme i'd rate it as good as Rainbow and Sooty, without any doubt I feel/think.

It had different human co-presenters all the time, the beginning was a cartoon animation done in colouring pencil style of a group of kids sauntering along in the distance, UB40 did a cover of the intro music and song as the animation played...I remember the dark monkey was voiced by a woman and had a Geordie accent which was odd as the dark monkey puppet was supposed to be a West Indian...lol

I do know that mate, just saying its funny....I'm Asian Sri Lankan and have an accentless voice - you know, Bond Villain style. Anyhow, we have Pakistani's down South that put on the Yorkshire style 'mock' Bradfordesque accent, tonnes of them do it, its become their version of the British born West Indians doing their parents and grandparents Windrush Era 'Patwa' accent when speaking English...

Has anyone got a pic of Crow and Alice?

Vaguely remember it with crow and Alice but not anything else about it apart from the theme tune.

    I hated it.

Side note, I've met Gary Wilmot. Nice man. I was only about 10 though, so that may have skewed my thoughts.
