My brother used to point out who had been in both shows.

I started watching when they repeated it on Sunday morning in the 1990s - I was probably too young for the original transmissions.

    Favourite pupil characters:

Calley Donnington (in her 1988-1989 persona)
    Trisha Yates (1978-1979)
Karen Young (a bit too recent, I know)
Justine Dean (circa 1990 - she was just like an adult woman when she was in scenes with Tegs Radcliffe)

Wild card: Imelda Davis - and she was wild!

    Favourite teacher characters:

Mr Mitchell (1978 - the founder)
    Mr Scott (1987)
    Mr Smart
    Scruffy McGuffy
Mr Knowles - the student teacher

Wild card: Mr Butterworth - seen on the St Alban's trip in 1983.

I think that this one Darren has to be more sought after than all the others as (though I may be wrong, possibly) I am sure it has no year given on the cover or inside possibly too!
