For me the golden age of of Grange hill was in 1982/83.
the series had characters like
pogo patterson, annette firman, zammo, sarah lucas, Roland, Doyle, Gripper Stebson
and of course the Tucker and his friends

one of my favorites was Melissa Wilks who played jackie. she had a very strong cockney accent. i think she was zammos girlfriend.
Does anyone remember her?. When i was in the UK in 1995 i saw her in east enders i think

My favourite Grange Hill character was Gripper Stebson.

Mine has to be Gonch and Hollo since they were sort of in the same year as me. Watched it again about 5 years ago and saw they had a character called Martin who was good.

Kim Benson (2.4 children) played Mary Johnson in Grange Hill 1978-1980.

Clare Buckfield who played Jenny in 2.4 was also in Grange Hill playing Natasha Stevens in the early 90's.

I used to like Fay Lucas. Best lookin girl in it at the time and Zammo's girlfriend was quite pretty after that.
