"Colin's" Leg---90s kids tv British. Probably NOT Colin's leg

Teatime after school. Some not well off kid finds a false leg and someone has stashed money or gems in it and want it back. Mini series. he basically won't return it. I know. Half my childhood was badly remembered. I must be the youngest dementia sufferer in existence.

I think it's Colin's leg but no luck. Tried COPILOT and he suggested GARRY'S LEG a substory of MURPHY'S MOB. I don't think so. That AI hallucinates a lot. Pretty sure it was ITV.

Any notions? The kid in question had short red hair btw. Not seen him in anything since. Which is normal.

There was a show in around the late 80s called 'Henry's Leg' - not sure if that's related?
