Was just wondering if anyone out there can remember a very bleak 1970s short film about nuclear fallout?
Basically, I think it was a German film that was shown to us British kids, and was played in the early 80s. It was about children who seemed to live in a bunker - which also served as a classroom.
I think it centred around the fact, that for one day a year, the kids could go out and play in the outside world and roll around in the grass, because there may have been some sort of eclipse that blotted out the radiation?
One kid has an argument with a girl and ends up getting locked in the bunker whilst the other children have their special day.
It was very scary, but no one ever remembers it - can anyone help?
Ta.
