One show I've noticed isn't out on DVD is Lynda La Plante's Civvies.

I didn't watch much of it but I'll always the trailer with the voiceover starting "We were the roughest & the toughest!" & that bloke with a dueling scar.

My brother really got into it when it was on.

I once made a compliation of old continuity & logos I found on old tapes, along with some favourite adverts.

I don't do as much recorded off-air as I used to, but have kept hold of many shows that will probably never be repeated or released on DVD.

Ive been going through my old vhs stuff, doesnt go back as far as the 80s as we couldnt afford a vhs player found some old noels xmas presents about 94,95ish so thats up on youtube general stuff like that really things you wouldnt buy a dvd of but like to remember.
That's exactly the stuff I like, that you can't get on DVD anymore: not the staged dramas or films, but contemporary TV that was very much of its time. And you watch it now, and it takes you right back to that time. So I love all the three/four minute compilations of old adverts or tv trailers from the 70s 80s and 90s that are on YouTube.

I've just bought the first series of 'CHiPs' (secondhand) on DVD which I'm ploughing through at the moment. Some now classic U.S. cars in all of the freeway scenes.

Charmed the full set, 8 seasons.

    Erm none!
Simply because I reckon they'd just sit there gathering dust because I don't often have the time. For example, I recorded all the New Avengers repeats when they were on BBC Four, but haven't watched more than a couple since.
I always watch Randall and Hopkirk when it's on ITV4 in the mornings and I'm not at work, so I don't feel the need to buy DVDs. Same with Good Life repeats, and there's so much good stuff for free on the web as well. I have become strangely fascinated with the early episodes of 'Take The High Road' since STV put them up on Youtube.
