Does anyone remember this weird 90's childrens tv programme!

I've been going slightly crazy trying to remember the name of a childrens tv programme that was on in probably the mid 90's, possibly earlier. I don't remember too much about it but here goes.

There was a tall guy with bleached blond hair and a plumpish girl with brown longish wavy hair. They were both probably mid to late teens? They were friends who were trying to stop a bad guy (or could have been a lady!) who was working for, or being controlled by some kind of mysterious thing which may or may not have been called behmoth(sp?). For some reason the blonde guy was significant and computers may have been involved in some way.

That is extremely vague I know but I need help!!! I'm sure someone must remember....they made it into a book. Or maybe it was a book already!

That might be Dark Season ('91), which was written by Dr Who impressario Russel T Davis. There's definately a blond guy(s) in it, computers (one called Bohemoth?), and the plumpish girl is commonly known these days as Kate Winslet!! lol

I remember that weird programme and the mad woman with a fetish for the young ayrian male skate-boarder ( the hair was dyed off his head!). Would I be right in thinking that actress also played Servalan in Blake's 7, was very like her??

I remember the Behmoth was a black chair/machine which you got strapped into. The blond haired man was called Mr Eldrich and he wore sunglasses and there was another woman called Pendragon who wore a turban on her head!!! I remember it well!!!

It sounds like Dark Season, I didn't watch it much but I remember it had lots of children hypnotised by some computers given to their school.

I think it was written by Russell T Davies.

As a bit of a cult TV fan, I've heard people call Dark Season great, interesting, quite good, etc. But this is honestly the first time I've heard someone call it awful.

I didn't know there was a sequel. Anyone have any info on this?

yep it was Dark Season and it also had a young Kate Winslet in it.

Oh and if I remember correctly the follow up was called Century Falls.
