There was a comic strip in there fairly early, and it got the cover art spot a few times. The annuals also had some comic strips. The best comic in Look In might've been the Star Fleet one with Mike Noble doing it, but the Follyfoot I've seen was well done. I dislike the comics that are really obvious tracings from photos; too stiff!

Only got ”look in “ comic once or twice, was there a Follyfoot comic strip in that?

I found a book titled 'Follyfoot Revisited' and ordered it. I also read that the location later appeared in Emmerdale and some people recognized it when it showed up there, I guess they must not have been too far from where they shoot outdoor village scenes for Emmerdale. My father seems really fascinated by a book I got about Emmerdale so hopefully he'll like this other book as much.

I hope you'll like it as much as I am if you do get the complete box, it also has some extras on some of the DVDs of Follyfoot articles from TV Times and some annuals you can read on computer or tablet. Also a comic story.

Strange that it’s something I never watched , as mentioned before, too girly for me although the theme tune is etched in my memory.

We've been watching Follyfoot from a DVD set. I remember seeing it in passing only before, but with an out past Leeds setting and being made by Yorkshire Television, and a half price sale at Network, I thought I'd give it a try. Interesting there were so many annuals and editions of the paperbacks. I do like the Lightning Tree song too!

Re: Follyfoot
Couldn't stand the programme, however, like Black bueaty and The White horse they have probably the most evocative theme tunes from my childhood.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I started singing the themeOriginally posted by kazboot View PostMy very favourite childhood tv series.
As a horse-mad little girl this was essential viewing and with the added bonus of Steve 'Yummy' Hodson it was unmissable!
Are there any other fans out there?
Altogether now 'Down in the meadow where the wind blows free....'

Re: Follyfoot farm
The theme tune is the only thing I remember about it.

The begining always made me laugh - with the jolly old care taker bloke from Are You Being Served and the younger one japing around...they used to repeat it on LWT on Saturdays in 1985, thats how I used to watch it...I was blessed.

TV Cream used to have an odd muzak version of the Follyfoot theme, I might have it somewhere on my hard drive.

Re: Follyfoot
Killer theme tune, ultra-cheesy but a guilty pleasure of mine
