Looks like 'How We Used To Live' is going to have a long awaited DVD release! Its showing on Amazon as being released 31/3/2011!
    Heaven knows I'm miserable now.

The BBC has described this in the Radio Times tonight as "cult" comedy. This word is so over-used now. Why is a classic TV show always a "cult"? I also saw them describe Doctor Who as "cult". This is one of their most popular shows, shown in prime time on Saturday nights, and they call it a "cult".

I'd like to see a 1970s BBC kids compilation in the same vein as Network's Look-Back series

I sky+'d them and my 8 and 4 year old fell about laughing at the classic episodes, why show this at midnight?
Perhaps not so politically correct for earlier on nowadays!

I think you can probably get all those on DVD now. Dangermouse, Superted and Willow The Wisp are definitely out. Check Amazon, Play etc.

I would like to see the series: Kim & Co released on DVD.
I remember Anchor Bay had a forum and some member asked the same question: what dvd would you like to see released. It turned out, people working for Anchor Bay would read it and take the suggestions on board. It led to a few DVD's being released.Another good little thing that came out of the thread, was other companies who were looking to release DVD's of very rare, obscure and virtually unknown films, would use the thread to find the names of films, and release them on DVD.
Who knows? Maybe one day, somebody will come across this thread and do likewise.

I would like to see Common As Muck released on DVD. I know they released it at some point but finding a copy is really hard. Get it re-released so the people that liked it can enjoy it again.

hat a great thread, I can not believe that i'd missed it before! I don't have many Programmes i'd desire to see released on to DVD. The main ones I canthink of are Bread (in it's full 7 Series 7 run from 1965 to 1991 with all the actor/actress changers - eg Aveline, Julie and Joey, though the DVD/Videos of the first few Series (which are wrongly tilted and mixed up with which Series is which) have bothKulie's on them I believe - before the change from Caroline to Hillary in Series 3.

Grange Hill is my other wish too, in it's entire 31 Series run from 1978 to 2008. Why the BBC have'nt caught on to the Money Spinner this would be amazes me. I know there is Music Royalty Issues but the amount the BBC would get in return from the sales - not like just releasiong the first few Series as they did, would be immense in terms of sales I think, as not everyone has the same era of Tucker or Zammo - so then it could possibly cover a wide spread and scale I feel/think as a result.

If I think of any more programmes I will mention them again, but i'm struggling a little at the moment which sadly. Though i'm sure that more exist that are truly worthy of a and deserve a DVD release.
