One of the programmes I'd love to see get an official DVD release. only just qualifies for inclusion in these forums since it was on TV in April/May 1999, its title was "The Last Train"

ow i never realised the costs where so high to get it released that no one person could afford.

i know id buy the dvd's.

well at least iots on challenge.

it ran for eight series 14 eps per series.
i see you can get a book on it from amazon called labyrinths of fear.
no sign of a dvd release.

            • I have just a few simple requests... 1: The Enchanted Castle 2: Moondial 3: The Machine Gunners 4: Knightmare and 5: Grange Hill (as commented above) a box set for each year. I truly hope the people in power are reading this? Oh and in the special / extras bit of the DVD, can we possibly have behind the scenes footage from back in the day and also a 'where are they now' section too. That would be excellent! Thank you )

Oh and 'Stig of the Dump' too ! ;o)

P.S. They've started showing Knightmare and Pat Sharps Fun House episodes on Challenge TV. I think the trailer said Friday evenings....

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

BBC had webpages announcing forthcoming releases (or maybe it was for downloads?) with button to click where you could order the entire Phoenix And The Carpet series (not that 90min movie version), and also Break In the Sun among others, but then they took it down and even the Google cached version is gone now.

I would love to see a BBC series from 1977 called "Target" with Patrick Mower. It was a "Sweeney" clone but was heavily criticized at the time for violence. I don't think it has been repeated since first transmission as far as I am aware. The late, great Philip Madoc played Mower's boss.
