Black Hole ice lollies, fruit flavour with black ice on the outside and a purple blackcurrant middle. They were delish.

Dalek Death Ray!! 5p for a choc and mint sensation! And Smash lolly, 4p for a 'red' sensation (I remember the lolly was red, can't remember the flavour though).
Remember the lolly sticks with a thousand and one corny jokes?
'We Are The Champions' lolly - was it red, white and blue?
'Skateboard' lolly - cola flavoured, and came with a collectible card depicting a skateboard move (I think).
There was a lolly that had some kind of 'horror' theme, it had a black outside, with a red jelly centre I think, and the lolly stick was a plastic stencil that you could use to draw the face of a famous horror character.

And from the ice cream van that used to come along in the summer - the '7p mix with juice and nuts'!! Just a cone, topped by two different flavour ice creams, covered in strawberry/raspberry/chocolate sauce and sprinkled with nuts. Ice cream heaven for pennies seven!

Think i recall the stencil on the sticks of ice lols, and some had codes on them before the jokes came later on, and some had lke cigarette cards with them too i think.

Wow,Where did you find that,David?

I've had it for years and years - I have a boxful of old '70s sweet wrappers, catalogues, crisp packets, freebies and all manner of neat things. I have the stencils referred to on the DRACULAS SECRET wrappers as well.

I think I may need to dig it out sometime and do some scanning

I have all the Daleks Death Ray wrappers as well (there were 18 in total).

my icecream man came round again the other day, i thought he must be needing money again, i couldent beleave the prices now, used to be £1 for a screwball, now he stick 4 flakes in it and calls it a hedgehog and charges £3, back to iceland i go, who remembers the funny feet?

Did you have a Shop van come around too?, we had a choice of a £1.00 a week pocket money, or 20p a night to spend either on the shop or icecream vans.

yes they have changed now, they have shrunk like most things, and its like a raspberry ripple, bit strong for my liking,
my icecream man coms around just before dinner which is a pain, you cant stick 99,s in the frezzer for later, i remember them egg ones and cider but not the other, and what happened to that make?
