Lemon Polos/fruit polo's

OK, I know you used to get Citrus Polos, but lemon was a very nice variety. The sugar free polos were barf. And how on earth could you cash in a gold prize polo without it braking? Was it plastic coated or something?

Do you still get fruit-flavoured Polos in the sweet shops these days?? Haven't seen them for years.

Yep still available, on line at least Fruit Polos, buy eighties sweets online at the confectionery shop crammed with 700 of the best sweets ever.

Never knew there where so many flavours of polos.
I only know of the normal ones.
never seen any of those others in local shops

I wonder where they flavouired lemon and lime varieties or where they actually that colour as well as that flavour.

I was (and am) a big fan of fruit polos although they are quite rare these days. Loved the way they used to get all gooey and stuck together in the packet so you'd have to eat about 4 in one go.

Exactly. Yum....I really liked the Strawberry ones in the pack.

lovely the fruit ones.
still get them now and again.

and yeah they get stuck together so u may as well eat them in 3's and fours.

never tried lemon ones.
fruit are the nicest of the lot.

I remember the Lemon ones were launched a couple of times in the 1990s, but didn't seem to catch on.

I have a feeling it was a fruit polo that escaped into my dap bag at primary and got stuck to the bottom of it.

nope it was just a coloured polo, i used to eat polos constantly at secondary school and eventually found a green polo to win a tenner, just had to send it away and they sent me a cheque back.
