  • Golden Wonder Pot Cassarole's

Does anyone remember Pot Casserole's - I'm sure they were made by Golden Wonder, and were outin the Supermarkets around the mid to late 80's.
Suppose they were pretty much the same as Pot Noodles realy. There was a sachet of Brown sauce included to to add at the end.
Used to take them to work to have with three rounds of wholemeal bread. I can't put into words how loud I used to trump a few hours after eating one !. I used to live with my mum and dad at the time and would end up in absolute histerics with it !! I can remember once being unable to get up off the living room floor for laughing, my dad was also doubled up laughing, both of us had tears running down our faces and chest's that hurt through laughing so much. I still have the great memories of those times even though my dad passed away over ten years ago. Wish you could still by them !!

Pot Spaghetti was another addition to the range at one time.

Pot Cassarole's [sic] - a worthy one for the Apostrophe Protection Society! Welcome, T Bone.

They only do Pot Noodle these days - I know that there was cheese and tomato flavour which didn't last long (circa 1988-1990) as I was told that they were not very popular. I asked my late father to get some cheese and tomato flavour ones and came back with beef and tomato instead - deaf as a post, he was. Not surprisingly, the chicken and mushroom flavour in its green pot is still going strong today, and Yours Truly has around 100 of them a year, mostly ordered via my Tesco online shop; one reason for putting the kettle on other than just making a cup of tea.

In the early 1990s there was an offer for some white mugs with the then Pot Noodle flavour labels on in which we got four of them. I sure that someone on here might have pictures of them if they know what I am referring to.

To be fair, as a child I used to think that Pot Pourri was one of their brands as well - it wouldn't have tasted very nice, although the smell wouldn't be that bad.
I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
        I'm having so much fun
        My lucky number's one
        Ah! Oh! Ah! Oh!
