Nick Barraclough meets a nine-to-five jobbing songwriter, visits the Bluebird Cafe which launched a thousand country stars, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Parthenon, the newly refurbished Ryman Auditorium and some of Nashville's lesser-known cultural backwaters.
