Hey Fantastic news!!! Is it in good condition, and was is a bargain??
I'm up and running again, but boy I'm I missing all my own bits Just worried If My Hard Drive has packed up, all my Photo's and DM music will be lost:cry: and all of this stuff is now irreplaceable.
Weathers been as dull as dish water too. Oh well at least I'm on line, and I'm Grateful for That!
Huh ! It's all right for some It's been overcast all day here and not quite as warm as it might have been.
Poor Heather's computer has gone down and it's had to go in for repair. I've lent her my old one and Pete is trying to get it up and running, but all in all - a PIG of a day
ps Congrats on getting another book to your collection Daz

Found the 'Usbourne naturetrail Omnibus' book in a charity shop0 this morning, its a reprint of a few Knowhow books in one big edition
There seemed a time when every News Agents and Corner shop sold these.
Posting this, made me just remember a Small plastic fishing rod, my brother use to have, like a toy, but usable if I recall right, oh the days, down by the brook, with your nets and Jam Jars on a string, fishing for "Tiddlers" and "Sticklebacks".

I looked everywhere for mittens with strings on,when I first had children.I got told by one store assistant they were no longer allowed to sell them for health and safety reasons, apparently a number of cases of toddlers strangling themselves with the string had been reported
If black plimsols are AKA pumps/school sports shoes they are sold in woolworths for £1.49, dont think they go up to big boy sizes though, but are still part of the required school P.E kits today.
I ain't seen....... people coming out of dentists with scarves over their mouths.......kids with strings linking their gloves..........black plimsols(gutties)... speaking of which.... catapults!
LOL, no I did find one once(after you found the non talking one) but it was listed in Amercia and they would not post to the u.k, could kick myself now for not keeping the ebay page
