Comedian Victoria Wood died today in her north London home after a brief battle with cancer. She was 62.

I still can not believe that Victoria Wood has passed away - I am still rather shocked I think

What an immense talent Victoria was beyond what words I can find to add. I so loved everything Victoria did with Julie Walters and in-particular Dinnerladies - what a funny dry witted Northern Show that was. I never knew until tonight that Julie Walters starred in Dinnerladies as Victoria's character's Mum. This just showed how amazingly good actress' both Victoria and Julie together making both Victoria and Julie of equal standing to the 2 Ronnies etc I think
