There was a day when if someone said "It's like a telephone directory" you knew that they meant it was big and thick, and it was something a strongman the likes of Geoff Capes would tear up on the telly, but now they are getting smaller and smaller each year! Saving the planet or saving money???

I can't remember the last time I looked up a number in a telephone directory. My last yellow pages still had the plastic wrapper on when the new one arrived! Me and the yellow pages have never got on though. It's my hatred of the wild Goose chase that it always sends you on. Taxis?...please look under 'four wheeled cars for hire with driver included'.
