Shame Roy is best remembered for his christmas hit....he did his best work with ELO and of course the wonderful MOVE

Roy Wood's Christmas show about four years (and a bit) ago. Great fun, great atmosphere. Some of the veteran glam rockers were dressed in their vintage finery, the ladies wearing maxi skirts and those cloche hats. Apart from my son I was probably one of the youngest people there. I'd only seen Roy Wood on TOTP before but he was terrific, a real larger than life character.

I have tickets for the rescheduled Simply red show next autumn (2021) and the resheduled Genesis show in april (covid permitting)....last gig was Musical box the wonderful Genesis tribute band february last

Musical box, Genesis tribute ...excellent band endorsed by Peter gabriel, they were on at the bridgewater hall Manchester on sunday which is a big venue for a tribute band

Not sure about 40 years ago but they have been going awhile now

Bootleg beatles at manchesters bridgewater hall just before christmas, these guys have been going about 20 years plus but they really are very good and probably better than the real Beatles since you could never hear them over the screaming.

Should have been Big Big Train in Newport 1st November 2019, but Mrs PW got ill and I couldn't go

That would have been my last gig I think, with my rapidly declining health.
