Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Could it be something to do with the fact that when the bottle is tightly closed, any air cannot enter the bottle and so that prevents it from sticking, or the fact that the glue simply cannot stick to the bottle because of what the bottle is made of? I believe that the glue needs to "breathe" so that it can stick to things.

Also:

If the Queen lives to see her 100th birthday, who will send her a card (i.e. the traditional telegram)?

If the Queen has two birthdays in a year, then why didn't she get one on her 50th?

Because practice makes perfect.


Thinking about it on the same lines as that and the building question above, if we listen to a tape of something on TV or the radio, we refer to it as a recording, don't we? Even though it has already been recorded.

Sorry, but I have thought of a few more:

If Conservatives are Conservative Party members, then what political party are "British nationals" members of?

If Plaid Cymru is referred to as "Plaid" (the Welsh word for Party), then why isn't Labour or the Conservatives referred to by just the word "Party"?

Why aren't Kazakh and Kyrgyz seen as racist abbreviations in the same way as Pakistan is when it is abbreviated in exactly the same way?

If JPN is an abbreviation for Japan, then why isn't RSA an abbreviation for Russia? And if RSA is an abbreviation for South Africa, then why isn't RUS an abbreviation for the United States?

Why didn't Katy Perry have exactly the same name as the comedienne Katy Brand when she briefly married Russell Brand? (I know that it is because Perry is her stage name and so therefore it doesn't change when she gets married, but still...)
