    Re: Krautrock

Love the Rammstein industrial guitar sound and have most of their albums, only seen a cover band of these live called Rammlied.

Only just found out that Guru Guru - my 2nd favourite Krautrock band after Ash Ra Tempel, did a comparatively recent studio album (2018).

Unfortunately can't seem to find it on vinyl, but have just ordered the CD of "Rotate" from Amazon.

My Guru Guru CD arrived from Germany this morning.
The veteran Krautrockers have done it again, with a hard-to-define blend of metal, jazz and funk, with a hint of Hawkwind and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band thrown in.
Nice presentation too, with a booklet of photos from the band's 50 year history.

Really sad to hear of the death of pioneering keyboard (and drums) genius Klaus Schulze.

His work with Ash Ra Tempel, Tangerine Dream and solo efforts were all magnificent.

Just check out his blistering drumming on Freak n' Roll:

Treated myself to the Guru Guru retrospective "Three Faces of Guru Guru" on limited edition coloured vinyl.
Absolutely brilliant! If you like a bit of jazzy space-rock, then I highly recommend this superb double-album.

Just treated myself to tickets and cheap flight with sleazyJet to see veteran Krautrockers Guru Guru in Hamburg on 13th September.
                  Can't wait!
Wife doesn't seem too grumpy about losing me for 3 days!

I still haven't liked anything more than Kraftwerk, I don't know why. I have tried various other groups but nothing else has clicked.
