What a Singer and what a group Jimmy and The Communards were - no doubts!

Their version of "Don't Leave Me This Way" was totally brilliant indeed I think - in how it becomes very high notes and how they held in particular

This must easily be one of the stand-out songs of the 1980s without question I feel

Don't check out Jimmy's last version of Don't Leave Me This Way from a year or so back, Richard :cry:

It really is terrible ... he truly has wrecked the song I feel/think!

Yeah. That's a great group, but the keyboard player died from cancer either late last year or a few months ago. The 80's was the best. I honestly feel sorry somewhat for the kids today who aren't being 'exposed' to the same level of quality pop songs that we appreciate from yesteryear.
