I have to say Barry Manilow was a marvellous singer and what a show ! We enjoyed it much more than the Stevie Wonder concert as he was a bit self indulgent we felt ..
Me and the missus had been married for 25 years and we decided to go to a load of concerts to celebrate the 'sentence'. I agreed to go to all those a along as I was allowed to go to Metallica , Status Quo and Incubus
RIP Rick parfitt still in search of the 4th chord, skynyrd also a shadow of the band they once were, i think this is a last farewell
My dad hated the Quo
as I played them loud in my bedroom .. everyone says they play the same chords and songs sound the same and yet I thought they were genius ..

I went to see (what's left of) The Sweet last night! Most excellent!
Slade 2 and Mud 2 on Friday...
M2 and S2 were amazing! M2 did not have any original members but still rocked. S2 had Dave Hill (what an absolute legend!!!) and drummer Don Powell and were, actually, stellar!!!
Time flies like the wind, fruit flies like bananas - go figure!

Shame Noddy Holder wasn't there .. strange given that he's still going strong and appears to love the limelight..
