I wish I'd written 'You've got a friend' instead of that dreadfully talented woman Carol King

I would love to wrote the Pooges Xmas Song that them (and Kirsty McColl RIP) did - A Fairytale Of New York. How I so so love this song and feel sympathy for Shane McGowan too after listening to a few of his interviews on You-tube. He just seems such a genuine guy who had it rough and sadly got on a downward spiral that never ended properly for himself. As people say - he is talented (not that it strikes as obvious straight away) but yes he sure sure is talented. It must've been an amazing song to write/think up I feel.

I think i'd of loved to of attempted doin a cover version/writing "Manic Monday" that The Bangles made very famous! An excellent song with just amazing lyrics! I mean the words I was just in the middle of a dream, kissing Valentino by an Italian Stream .... that is somve verse that i think we all (female or amles) dream would really happen meeting a "Knight In Shining Armour" in a dram that could (just could!!) extend to reality! A great song ... no questions!
