In Private and Nothing Has Been Proved by Dusty Springfield and the Pet Shop Boys springs instantly to mind as too does Sit Down by James (though for many combined reasons) too though

Im just new here so hi everyone. I must be really old as a lot of the songs which have been mentioned dont seem that long ago ha ! Songs which take me back include - elusive butterfly, tap turns on the water, sugar sugar, the black eyed boys, leader of the pack, goodbye to love and my favourite all was - Little green apples by Roger Miller - heres a few lines for ya -

And i wake up in the morning with my hair down in my eyes and she says hi
And i stumble to the breakfast table while the kids are going off to school, goodbye.

For me it's This used to be my playground by Madonna.

Even though I was an adult when this was released, every time I hear this it transports me back to my childhood.
