    What about the American effort "We are the World", such a pathetic song with inane lyrics, although it was quite an impressive line-up. I heard that thousands of dollars were spent on the celebrity buffet during the recording of the song, trust the yanks!

      i actually quite liked it we are the world so lets keep on giving.t

      todays band aid tho the singers in it dont compare to the ones in we are the world or in the original band aid.
      too many now cant sing.


      come on im sure they could have found better artists why not get say tina turner and madonna some country music superstars.

        Kenny Rogers is on We Are The World, if that's what you were referring to. Madonna wanted to be but was double booked the day it was recorded.

        She made up for it being being on the first to agree to perform at Live Aid.
