However, I want to find new songs for my collection.
So you can guess what I'm going to ask next... but with a bit of feeling.

Choosing one favourite song is almost impossible, as it depends on what I've been listening to or thinking about recently.
I was tempted to pick something from the Jacques Brel catalogue, as a lot of his stuff resonates with my life story. Or maybe Ange's 'Hymne à la Vie', which still stirs my emotions 40 years on. The Roy Harper song 'These Fifty Years' is a perennial favourite of mine too.
In the end though, I plumped for the most wonderful and epic song (IMHO) that the late great David Bowie ever committed to vinyl - Cygnet Committee:
