There has been a news feature about people who, in this age of CD and MP3 shuffles, still believe that certain albums must be listened to all the way through with the songs in the right order:
Are record clubs the new book clubs?
Which albums do you think should be listened to all the way through?
I nominate Rage in Eden by Ultravox. Four of the tracks are segued together so closely that even hardened fans argue about where one stops and another begins, there is a continuous theme throughout the album, and the tracks sound awkward when played alone.
That's my opinion anyway.
