                • Iv'e got to give Cindy Kent a mention!
She put on a solo perfomance at my primary school one afternoon when I was eight, probably my first ever gig.
It was definitely a case of goodbye Mary Hopkin and hello Cindy.

A quick scan through the thread suggests it could be a ahem toss-up between these three:

Judith Durham was lovely, as was Mary Travers, now there was a face!
Not that we should muddy the 60's and 70's of course.

                          • I could chime in that at various times I wanted to be Caroline Ellis, Jenny Agutter, or Jacqueline Smith... also when she had straight dark auburn hair Ani-Frid Lyngstad of Abba (I thought Benny was the cutest and he was her boyfriend).
