Does anyone else remember the 'TOSHIBA' advert?
I believe it went like this:
"Hello Tosh look at the state of your telly,
You've got a picture like a wobbly jelly,
Apart from losing half the screen,
The whole thing bends know what I mean.
Well your old set, well bless my soul
Reflects the light like a goldfish bowl
Seems the designers made a boob
So try TOSHIBAS flatter squarer tube.
F S T where've you been
We've straightened the corners and flattened the screen
Fo the best colour picture, meet the leader
Say hello Tosh to the new TOSHIBA."
I don't really remember the ad, just the words. It was done with a cockney accent. A bit like Kevin Wicks(Eastenders)
If you can remember it, do you have any idea what year it was on and how long it ran for. Thanks
