    Bonds history is well documented, he has NO wife or sister, he DID have a wife but she died

    I don't think it matters if Bond was transsexual to be honest. Anyway, the woman can be a completely different character.

    We can't have a female James Bond ... I don't even care much for the franchise but even I'd be offended ..

    I'd they want to cast a female action hero she can simply be 003 or whatever .. same applies to the black guy petition ... Idris would be a great action hero in a Bond movie but they can't change Bond's identity after so long .. Idris would have to be 004 or whatever ..

    Bond will have to stay and they could share the star billing between two 00 agents or even 3 of them ..

    Well, she can be a different character to James - she could be his wife or sister - Supergirl was a different character to Superman as they were cousins, and She Ra was He-Man's twin sister. She would be a different person.

    Yes but Bond already has a 56 year history as a man, how on earth does he suddenly change gender?...The notion of a JAMES bond female equivalent is an interesting one but you surely can't be suggesting that James suddenly becomes June?
