policeman with a time machine

Re: policeman with a time machine

Yeah - only about £8 for the whole series, isn't it, Crime Traveller? Chloe Annett, (Kochansky mark 2 from Red Dwarf), and some bloke from Eastenders. Pleasingly time-twisty nonsense, where the time machine was a whole room or something? Sounded like a Douglas Adams rip-off at the time, but I'd have watched anything Chloe Annett did...It was...ahem...that time in my life...

Crime Traveler is available on DVD now. Not something I enjoyed when it was on TV though.

I remember Phyllis 'Lady Jane' Logan & Christopher 'Moxey' Fairbank were in it.

..And Fred Ward out of Tremors to help with the overseas sales..!

I think at series was called Invasion Earth.

It was fairly hit & miss, with some elements being better than others.

(sighs and bites the bullet)...

what was that series about the alien invasion then?

Re: policeman with a time machine

I also liked watching it.

I think it didn't come beck because the BBC made a series a year later about an alien invasion.
