Hi,

In the 90's (I think), in the Uk I watched a tv series (made in US) about a group of gifted people who met at an older black mans house. They had abilities and fought "the darkness".
A Gifted young woman fought the darkness in a bedroom. She was more gifted than the elderly black man.
I think another character was a paramedic.

Had me stumped for years this one.

It might be The Others (2000) or possibly The Chronicle—both featured gifted individuals and supernatural themes. Hope someone cracks this mystery for you soon!
