Looking for a weird TV show set in a school(uk)

Was on at Tea time in the mid 80's. All I can recall is that there was this scary puppet in a cellar in the school that was deformed. It was small, like a child, but wasn't a child. It lived in a cupboard and the kids would consult him for some reason. Sounds like a nightmare, right? Uk kid's TV eh?

I reckon it was a programme called “behind the bike sheds” .
I remember the weird puppet saying something about and worshipping his Sacred school dinner

Wow that's brilliant. Im sure I use to watch behind the bike sheds but until I followed your link I couldn't remember anything about it. Memory unlocked for me too thanks.
