I have no idea when I got them. They were cassette tapes, not video tapes. I think the idea behind it was to read you through the book.

Darren: I found it in my wardrobe, in a box with some other books I had stored away for safe keeping. This book came with a tape, which I still have as well. Cant remember how old I was when I got it..

Ha! That's 1 of the books I had! There was a blue covered one too. I think I had a green covered one also. Or yellow, it's been such a long time since I've seen it.

Planet of the Cats is one of them. I don't remember the others sadly. I actually think as a child I used to draw the pictures in the book, I used to do a lot of that sort of stuff as a kid.

I have no idea, my parents had a box where they used to keep bits and bobs I'd done as a lad. It's possible they still could exist.

It's quite funny to observe the gulf between 70's/80's children and 90's children when it comes to fave kid's TV shows. OTBC I assumed you were a lot older due to your love of On The Buses!

I also used to love Sooty and Sweep, I can still recall watching it one December afternoon in 1992, an afternoon very much like today - miserable and wet! Still watching show's like Sootya nd Sweep and Rainbow/Bertha etc gives me an happy thought of the wonderfull day's of the past (that even though the internet is great, belong to times that are more innocent) than these day's sadly.
