yes there was another version of Stig of the Dump in 2002. But the 1981 version is the one we all fondly remember here on DYR

I'd love to see the whole of Grange Hill released and also the whole of Cagney and Lacy too. Love them both. I'm with you Austin Maxi, I'd love the 1981 Stig of the dump.

Both series of 'Dear John' are now out on DVD (and as a box set). I'm sure 'Willo The Wisp' and 'Dangermouse' also have DVD releases.

Only one series of 'Big Deal' (1984) starring Ray Brooks is out, I'd like the other two series to be released.

I've always been a little disappointed that the 'It started with Swap Shop' special made a few years ago was never given a DVD outing.

Then there's the original version of the 'Stig Of The Dump' series from 1981, and from the same year - 'Break In The Sun' - a six-part BBC childrens' drama.

Is the boy from outer space, the same as the look and read "the boy from space"?

Frame, you can buy The Best Of The Tube on dvd - I've got it. In fact there may even be more than one volume by now, as there is with Best Of The Old Grey Whistle Test.

streethawk, everything else seams to be on dvd why not this excellent series
hit man and her, they could include extra`s like who is wiggy and what he is doing now, lynn and nikki, if i remember nikki is a singer they could put some of her work on the disk, i`m sure the fans would love that, i would
children of the dogstar, another under rated series
i was going to include thundercats but ain`t it out on dvd already, i believe it is.
the orignal hanna barriera godzilla cartoon, the one with godzuki in it

If CHILDREN OF THE DOGSTAR was that children's show from New Zealand
then i am pretty sure it IS on dvd. I think i saw it either at Amazon or a New Zealand website no longer than about a month ago.I thought about buying it myself, actually.
