    Battle was a comic from the mid 70's to the late 80's. Going by the packets and print and design and logo, I would say early to mid 80's. It was a great comic too.

    Once every six months when I was about 12 I would go to a lady's house that my dad knew along with some other children and sample new crisp products and choose which packet designs I liked the best..........I can remember munching on a bag of salt and vinegar twists and to this day I remember the blue design on the packet I liked the most.

    They still sell them in poundland (the ringos) & most SA shops stock Simba
