In those days you didn't get supermarket brands, only Sunblest, Mother's Pride, Tiger etc., unless you went to the bakers and got a nice warm crusty loaf.....
LOL Heather
Bump. Did anyone ever find a pic of "Tiger Bread"? If my memory serves me correctly it was an orange a white stripe wrapper with a pic of a tiger on it (doh!) I was talking about this to my mum the other day.
Tiger bread?? anyone remember that?
Not the hard stuff you can get today called Tiger loaf, this was early 70's and in a long bag.It was red/yellow with a tiger on the front. the bread itself was standard sliced white, but no-one seems to remember it.
I only remember it 'cos when it was snowing, we would put the plastic bags over our socks then put our shoes on to stop them getting wet
Sixty thats neat, thats neat, I'd really have loved to have seen your Tiger feet
