    That would be fantastic!
Is the logo on the bag the same one on that badge, as we thought the badge might be American, and none of us have seen a Tiger Bread bag since the 70's

    Well hello!

You will find this most exciting! When i was a child say, early 70's! I used to be a little devil for burying things in the garden! I recently excavated under a tree to lay slabs, and unearthed a plastic bag......tiger bread bag! Will try to send picture asap! Wow!!! And it has survived the years underground!

    Anyone remember 'Tiger Bread?'

Tiger Bread was round and usually came in an ..er stripey-tiger bag. Great novelty bread for toast, or making sandwiches with round sliced spam.

Thats a shame, you'd think companies/the owners would keep some sort of complete history of all their products, sad to think things can just be lost to time
Not giving up though that bread wrappers still out there somewhere.

I have just emailed Allied Bakeries and British Bakeries who between them make nearly all the trade name breads of today to see if either of their companies produced it and if not, could they shed any light on it.

    Here's hoping !!

It's a mystery all right...lets hope the Ebay seller or makers can shed some light on it for us.
