Grab a tiger by the tail, buy tiger bread and do not fail, to get the big loaf in the bag that seals up tight, and have a tiger appetite!

Re: Tiger Bread.
I remember Tiger bread. The commercial went something like this: "Grab a tiger by the tail, try tiger bread and do not fail, to get the big loaf in the bag that seals up tight, and have a tiger appetite!"

Re: Tiger Bread.
That is a nice shot of the later "Tiger bread" And the first post that brought me to this Fab Forum! Great shopping basket shot too, I really love old Supermarket footage, we need more moving film of where we shopped in the 70's dont we?

That's nice to see another Tiger Bread Loaf bag other than the one I dug up! Good condition too!
I seem to think that they made one in purple, blue and black stripes too?

I work in the plastics industry in a sort of way lol! They did not think of making plastic biodegradeable back then.Originally posted by FLYING SAUCER View PostHi Memoman,
Yes, that struck me when I dug it up - how well the colours had kept under the soil for so long! I buried all sorts of things in my garden, ought to have a proper dig round hadn't I who knows what other packages lay beneath!
On an environmental note, if that has been buried for 40 years, not very good for the planet was it 60's and 70's packets?!?
