You used to be able to get mint creme eggs as well as ordinary ones.
And does anyone remember a candy stick they used to sell loose in sweet shops - about 3 inches long, in a bright coloured fruit flavour or chocolate flavour - the chocolate ones were delicious - like drinking chocolate.
I remember Cabana bars, and I also remember a chocolate bar called United, which had bits of sugar candy in the chocolate. There was also one called Bandit, the same size and shape.
Also remember a bar called Troeffel - it had an advert of cartoon Vikings in a longboat singing about Troeffel bars to two jooined-together tunes from the Peer Gynt suite: "Life would be oeful if we had no Troeffel; our days would be gloomy and nights would be glum - yum, yum, yum, yum! Eat a Troeffel bar today! It will chase blues away! Happy Vikings on our way now we have Troeffel bar - Ja!"
(Goes and hides in embarrassment).
Also remember Refreshers which were round, quite fizzy sweets in different colours which came in a tube (not the chews that are now called Refreshers). There was an advert for them with a kid with a toy flying saucer and his mum saying he'd be back home soon because they didn't sell Refreshers on Jupiter.
