Fireball sweets?
Having recently discovered fireball whiskey (very nice with apple juice) I have had the memory of all sweets thrust upon me from friends who have tried said drink and said "tastes just like those fireball sweets we used to get as kids!" Trouble is I can't remember them at all.Probably due to the fact that I hated cinnamon then so never had them on my radar. Apparently they were red, possibly boiled sweets with a spicy cinnamon taste and were of the sort to come by the quarter out of the big jars. Ring any bells with anyone?1976 Vintage

Re: Defunct sweets?
I remember if you went to the seaside in the late 70s some sweet shops sold seaside pebbles. They weren't real pebbles, they were sweets which looked like pebbles (shape and colour). I though it was clever how they managed to make them like that. Anyway, I haven't seen those for years. Do seaside sweet shops still sell them? When I went to Blackpool in April this year, I saw places selling Blackpool Rock, but I don't remember them selling those seaside pebble sweets I've described here. Does anyone remember what I mean?I am 13 ... times 4.
