Re: RIP Cilla Black
I just logged in to start this thread, such sad news, I read it on facebook so was just checking if it was true... loved blind date as a child and we always had Surprise Surprise on on a Sunday night. The recent film about her changed my view of her slightly (bit of a diva) but still very sad to hear she is no longer with us. RIP Our Cilla

Re: RIP Cilla Black
What terribly sad news about Cilla Black passing away I think it would be accurate to describe Cilla was an all-round entertainer - Blind Date in the 1980s/1990s was "real Saturday Night TV" and Cilla made Saturday Night TV through Blind Date I feel - that was literally the time I was growing up and always has been an abiding memory I have held for years
As well too Cilla was an amazingly good Singer I thought - I loved all the songs Cilla sang. They just had that vibe somehow I felt/feel
Rip Cilla Black

Re: RIP Cilla Black
sad news. strokes are devastating. I've worked with people who've been rehabilitated and despite modern day medicine and miracles I know if it was me I'd rather be allowed to go quickly. Her family will be devastated but I can't think of a nicer way to see your mam out than knowing she was loved by so many people nationwide and beyond. They must feel so proud despite the sadness.
