                                29th July 1981

Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer marry at St Paul's Cathederal.

2 things I remember from this.

First we were given a commemorative coin at school to mark the occasion and mine was stolen from me on the way home from school by some kids from another school. They traced and made to give it back to me along with a big bag full of chocolate bars and sweets

Secondly I was on holiday at the time of the wedding in Sussex and watched it on tv in the guesthouse.
