    Got to agree with Daz the 70's had the most diverse range of musical styles for any decade ie pop,heavy metal, prog rock, disco,glam rock and of course punk something for everyone. I also believe that you should never limit your musical tastes to the past< I enjoy as many of todays bands Razorlight, Muse,Bloc party,Snow patrol etc as i did Bowie, Roxy, The jam etc. Live for today

    Has to be the 70s for me. T Rex, Osmonds, Jackson 5, david cassidy, Bowie, wings..... oh happy days )

    Between the 70s and 80s for me. I think I'd have to go for 80s simply because I remember it more than the 70s, although i do love 70s stuff.

    The 80's were good if you like Pop,but the 70's win for more heavyweight stuff

    aww not fair there's more from the 80's than rick and kyles !!!
    Depeche mode, madness, soft cell, human leauge, and blondie, just to name a few.

    Come on..no contest here..
    The 70's gave us classics from Zeppelin,Roxy,Eno,Zappa,Bowie..etc not to mention Punk,Post Punk and New Wave
    The 80's?? Kylie and Rick Astley..
