The only actor I recognize is the main one (the agent). I think he was once in Eastenders

Oh yes, that was a classic in more ways than one. The music was actually from Mahler's Symphony No.1

Yep, that's right Ann22 and it was sung to the tune of "Whatever Will Be Will Be", if memory serves.

That was the first one I thought of Chilli... it went like this as far as I remember...

"Will it be chips or jacket spuds?
Will it be salad or frozen peas?
Will it be mushrooms, fried onion rings?
You'll have to wait and see.
Hope it's chips it's chips, we hope it's chips it's chips...."

There was another one of those ads..it was a goal keeper standing leaning on the goal posts during a match and he starts singing in a strong Cockney accent-

"Hope it's my favourite meal tonight
big quarter pounder, done to a T
Will it be sizzling, chunky and thick?
(sung by the spectators)You'll have to wait and see.
    Hope it's chips it's chips..."

    "hope it's chips, its chips"

I remember that - especially the token black guy singing "Fried Honion rings"!

For me, one that always stuck in my mind was (sung in a cheeky cockney accent) "Salt 'n vinegar. SALT and vinegar. Smiths Salt and Vinegar crisps!"

theres two adverts i remember fondly from the mid 80`s they were played regularly on Londons capital radio and allways made me laugh

a lurpak butter ad that was just a bloke singing in a crooner type vocal "lurpak my baby said lurpak..........."

    and
an ad for a daily bus pass that used the tune for glen campbells rhinestone cowboy and went "ive got a one day bus pass"

Not that they were brainwashed at all but when mine were little and we'd be crossing over a road I'd say "Quickety quick" and they'd chorus back "Microchips!"

I used to love the Dulux ad. "May the gloss in Ross be a good gloss, may the windowsills of Winchester shine...." I can't remember any more but I used to know it all and sing it in the car with the kids!
