Re: Favorite Jingle
I loved the quite trumpet jingle that was at the end of every Castrol GTX Oil advert where the oil fills up the spanner...

Re: Favorite Jingle
"Trebor mints are a minty bit stronger, stick em in your pocket and they last a bit longer"
Was a rude version but I'll spare you

Oh dear me.... from the depths of memory of drunken nights at the Bierkeller in Morecambe.... I seem to recall bawling out an alternate version of 'What has a Hazelnut in every bite?'

There were loads of radio ads (thinking of Capital Radio in the early to mid-eighties) that had catchy jingles, now presumably lost for ever. One of them was for a clothing company in Petticoat Lane, in London, the jingle used to go something like this:
Goldrange!
Sheepskin and Leather - Discount Centre!
The big red building in Petticoat Lane!
<then there was the blurb telling you of the offers going on, before the ad finished with:>
The big red building in Petticoat Lane!
There was also one that I can remember the chorus to. Not sure if it was a TV or radio ad (my memory fails!!)
Whitbread! Big Head!
Trophy Bitter!
The pint that thinks it's a quart!
Cheers

Millions of people everyday pick up a tin of beans and say....
BEANZ,MEANZ, HEINZ! This recently returned from the synapses of yester year with the new ad on TV at the moment.

2. "Don't be mean with the beans mum, Beanz Meanz Heinz !"
3. "Bring us back a Busker
Bring us back a treat,
You know that every kid'll
Love the magic in the middle.
So play it on a banjo,
Or bang it on a drum.
But bring us back a Busker, Mum !"
4. This is the Age of the Train.
5. " Double Diamond works wonders
works wonders
works wonders
Double Diamond works wonders
So drink one today."

"Magic Moments...when two hearts are caring..." The quality street ads sparked off a craze in my maths teacher who went round the class on your birthdays and sang magic moments to you with his microphone shaped bubble bath container. Wierd!...
