Re: Defunct sweets?
Yeah. They were bright red and you got 3 in a pack. They were about the size of a medium marble.

Re: Defunct sweets?
Perhaps that was them. They do ring a bell. Were they a bit like the jaw breaker bubble gums in terms of size and packaging?

I remember Fireball Gobstoppers. They came in packs of 3. Think Leaf made them.

Fireball sweets?
Having recently discovered fireball whiskey (very nice with apple juice) I have had the memory of all sweets thrust upon me from friends who have tried said drink and said "tastes just like those fireball sweets we used to get as kids!" Trouble is I can't remember them at all.Probably due to the fact that I hated cinnamon then so never had them on my radar. Apparently they were red, possibly boiled sweets with a spicy cinnamon taste and were of the sort to come by the quarter out of the big jars. Ring any bells with anyone?

Re: Defunct sweets?
Mojo wasn't bubble gum. They were straight forward chew sweets. I remember when they were 3 for a penny. Those were the days!Originally posted by sf1378 View PostWhat about Mojo chewy sweets? Think it was a bubble gum and you could get them in sweet shops individually wrapped for about a penny each, they even had fruit flavoured ones. There was also liquorice flavoured ones. Anyone remember Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum?
I also remember a red and white wrapper bubble gum that you could get individually and the gum was whitish coloured with indents - 3 of them running across the gum and inside the wrapper was a small printed comic strip - practically unreadable as it was so small, in black and white - I think the text was in Italian - this was around 1980 - 82/4 when Dad would get them for us from the local shops...
