westside - sonic boom boy ( a great song no doubts)
take my breath away - berlin

I've got a few of those in my collection.
Just last week I was looking & found Brother Louie by Modern Talking on Youtube after it popped into my mind that it was a song I hadn't heard for 25+ years.
Sonic Boom Boy was a similar song suggeted by YT, I remember it being used on an episode of Howard's Way.
Ice Ice Baby was by Vanilla Ice, though it samples Queen & David Bowie's Under Pressure.
Every now & again I hear something one the radio that I've not heard for years away from my or my Dad's CD collection.
I have a few mentioned above on CD.

Re: 80's songs you never hear on the radio these days
One which was all over the radio and the telly in 1983 was 'La Serenissima' by Rondo Veneziano - this was the tune with the animated video of a classical orchestra with featureless chrome faces and Venice being rescued from the sea by a spacecraft. It didn't do great business in the charts at the time though, despite all of the publicity.
Re: 80's songs you never hear on the radio these days
Good choices on this thread! I'd like to add:
"Camouflage" Stan Ridgeway
"Driving away from home" It's Immaterial
"Lean on me" Red Box
"Sign of the Times" Belle Stars
"Party Fears Two" The Associates
"The closest thing to Heaven" The Kane Gang
"Obsession" Animotion
"Broken Land" The Adventures
"Magic Smile" Rosie Vela
"The promise you made" **** Robin
Re: 80's songs you never hear on the radio these days
I guess there are many really unless you listen to a dedicated 1980s Station. Heart Radio is good for this I find, but has 1970s songs too. A few I can recall not hearing on the Radio recently are
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
Tears For fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World
Ultravox - Vienna
A lot by Bannarama including Nathan Jones, Venus, Love In The First Degree
Dusty Springfield Featuring the Pet Shop Boys - In Private
Sa Fox - I Only Wanna Be With You
This is very much a pitty I think. Thankfully the 1980s had all this with artists recording lesser known songs being instantly remembered I when heard (even if they never managed the top 5/10 in the Charts) I feel/think
